Fanatical Thieves Raid Imperial Dam on Aldhani
An organised and heavily armed group of expert thieves invaded, took control of and then raided the Aldhani dam, a vital base in the Empire's plans for expansion into the Aldhani sector. It was also the installation that safeguarded the quarterly payroll for the entire sector in physical credits.
Radical Insurgents on the Rise?
The most alarming detail about this sudden raid is quite possibly the alleged extremist motivations behind it. Despite such a large sum of credits being extracted, little of it has been found used in underworld or mainstream channels. Several professionals, Imperial representatives and media outlets have theorised that this is due to the currency being utilised elsewhere for more extreme purposes. Ultimately, these larcenists made off with 80 million credits, though fortunately a great many of their number were gunned down by the dam's valiant and swift garrison.
