Bandits Attempt Theft of Formerly Separatist Valuables on Serenno

A group of suspected mercenary bandits attempted to clandestinely steal from the contents of the war chest that had belonged to the reprehensible leader of the Separatist movement, Count Dooku. The larcenists attacked during the final stages of the transportation of the treasures off world in the hopes that they could clandestinely escape with some of the valuables.

The as of yet unidentified group of thieves initially attempted to stealthily infiltrate the base responsible for safeguarding and transporting the valuables, but were discovered swiftly due to the clumsiness of their operation. They then stowed-away aboard one of the transports and took it by force, ejecting all of the containers. Following this, Clone Captain "Wilco", the commander of the forces present, sent his men to hunt down the criminals and recover all of the valuables. Despite the Captain's untimely death during this mission, the report compiled by his stand-in Vice Admiral Rampart recorded that eighty-five percent of the lost goods had been recovered.

This event has further stirred the anti-Clone sentiment amongst Imperial High Command, many considering the failure to capture this low-rate thieves as further proof of the Clone Army's incompetence.
